Also contains translations of “CITYCitycity” and “Shakespeare and the Outside”. “Old Angel Midnight” first appeared in Big Table 1 in 1959 [see Charters C45], a literary magazine edited by Irving Rosenthal that was notable for the many contributions by members of the Beat Generation. Officially published in book form by Grey Fox Press in 1993.
