Colston Hall, Bristol April 1956 concert flyer


Vintage original first printing concert flyer advertising American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger Stan Kenton’s two performances at the Colston Hall in Bristol [England] on Tuesday, 3rd April, 1956, presented by Charles H. Lockier. The concerts in Bristol were part of Kenton’s first tour of Great Britain and came in between the recording of the albums Contemporary Concepts and Cuban Fire.

The flyer measures 10.1 x 17.6 cm and is beautifully printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. There is a faint horizontal fold to the middle, else in excellent unmarked condition. Photo of the back of the flyer available on request.
