Original vintage program book for the Jazz Expo ’70 event which took place at the Royal Festival Hall in London and at the Odeon Theatre in Hammersmith from 24th to 31st October, 1970. Presented by Harold Davison and Jack Higgins, the performers included Ray Charles, Elvin Jones, the Modern Jazz Quartet, Oscar Peterson, Earl Hines, Buddy Rich, Dave Brubeck, Gerry Mulligan, Anita O’Day, Bukka White, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Champion Jack Dupree, Willie Dixon and many more.
In original yellow and black pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 25.7 cm, 44 pp. Program notes by Peter Clayton. Near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
