November/December 1966 UK concert tour program
Original vintage concert program produced for Norman Granz’ Jazz At The Philharmonic Nov/Dec 1966 7-date package tour of Great Britain, presented by Harold Davison in cooperation with Jazz Europa. Performing artists included Dizzy Gillespie, Coleman Hawkins, Benny Carter, Clark Terry, Teddy Wilson, Zoot Sims, Louis Bellson, Bob Cranshaw, James Moody, and blues giant T-Bone Walker. The tour commenced at the Royal Festival Hall in London on 26th November and ended at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester on 3rd December, 1966.
In original illustrated uncoated wrappers, staple bound, 20.9 x 25.8 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Benny Green. Very light wear to spine and extremities, else in excellent complete condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional images of the program available on request.
