Nippon Budokan, Tokyo September 1977 poster

Original first printing concert poster advertising the Ian Gillan Band at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo [Japan] on Thursday, 22nd September, 1977, presented by Udo Artists, Inc. The show in Tokyo was part of the group’s Fall 1977 Japanese tour in support of the Clear Air Turbulence album, their second studio album, produced by the band themselves and released on 15th April, 1977 by Island Records. At this point, besides the leader, the band featured Colin Towns (keyboards/flutes), John Gustafson (bass), Ray Fenwick (guitars) and Mark Nausea (drums).

The poster measures 51.5 x 72.8 cm (approx. 20.3″ by 28.7″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In remarkably near excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
