1986 Japanese Arista Records promotional poster for “Whitney Dancin’ Special”
Original first printing Whitney Houston (1963–2012) promotional poster issued by Arista Records in Japan in 1986 to promote the release of the Whitney Dancin’ Special album – her first remix album, produced by Jellybean, Narada Michael Walden, and Bruce Forest, and originally released on 1st November, 1986 on Arista Records. The album was exclusively released in Japan. It was manufactured and distributed by Nippon Phonogram during its original release and includes five remixed and one instrumental version of songs from her self-titled debut album. It was later released in the US for the first time as part of Houston’s 35th anniversary edition of her debut album. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never commercially available.
The poster measures 51.4 x 72.8 cm (approx. 20.2″ by 28.7″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
