Royal Festival Hall, London April 1959 concert flyer
Original first printing concert flyer advertising American jazz clarinetist and big band leader Woody Herman (1913–1987) at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Saturday, 4th April, 1959, presented by the National Jazz Federation, and with a band that included trombonist Bill Harris, trumpeter Nat Adderley, guitarist Charlie Byrd, double bassist Keter Betts, drummer Jimmy Campbell, and pianist Vince Guaraldi.
The flyer measures 17.0 x 19.2 cm and is beautifully printed in black ink on thin, yellow uncoated paper stock. Complete with the original postal booking form still intact. Light creasing along the right side border, else in near excellent unfolded condition. Photo of the back of the flyer available on request.
