1988 Japanese Arista Records/BMG Victor promotional poster for “Ooh Yeah!”
Original first printing Hall and Oates promotional poster issued by Arista Records/BMG Victor in Japan in 1988 to promote the release of the Ooh Yeah! album – their thirteenth studio album, produced by Tom “T-Bone” Wolk, and originally released in April 1988 on Arista Records. It was their first studio release in four years and their first with Arista Records. Containing the singles “Everything Your Heart Desires”, “Missed Opportunity” and “Downtown Life”, the album reached #24 on the Billboard 200. It stayed on the chart for 24 weeks and was certified Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) in November 1988 for sales exceeding 1,000,000 copies in the US alone. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
