Postal Savings Hall, Tokyo April 1976 concert flyer
Large original double-sided first printing concert handbill advertising the Johnny Griffin Quartet at the Postal Savings Hall in Tokyo [Japan] on 23rd & 26th April, 1976, presented by All Produce. Besides the leader himself, the Quartet featured pianist Horace Parlan, drummer Art Taylor, and bassist Mads Vinding. The two concerts in Tokyo were the last stops on Griffin’s first Japanese tour, also visiting Hiroshima (13th April), Fukuoka (14th April), Osaka (16th April), Aomori (19th April), Sendai (20th April), and Nagoya (22nd April).
