March 1970 German concert tour program + ticket stub
Large original vintage concert program produced for American clarinetist and bandleader Benny Goodman’s March 1970 German tour, in support of the King of Swing album. Presented by Heinz Hoffmeister, Goodman’s orchestra for the tour included Bill McGuffie (piano), Bobby Orr (drums), Johnny McEvy (trumpet), Bob Efford (tenor sax), Keith Christie (trombone), Lennie Bush (bass), John Pizzarelli (guitar), Bob Burns (also sax), and Barbara Whittle (vocals). Original ticket stub for the concert at the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt on Sunday, 1st March, laid in.
In original b/w coated pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 24.0 x 31.8 cm, 16 pp. All text in German. Paper clip mark to the top of the back wrapper, else near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
