October/November 1981 concert tour poster
Original first printing concert poster advertising British rock group Genesis’ nationwide tour of Germany during October and November 1981 in support of the Abacab album, kicking off at the Stadthalle in Bremen on 5th October and ending at the Deutschlandhalle in Berlin on 2nd November. Recorded at the The Farm in Chiddingfold and produced by the band themselves, Abacab was released on 14th September, 1981 and became the band’s second consecutive UK #1 album. It reached #7 in the U.S. where it was certified double platinum by the RIAA for over 2 million sold copies.
The poster measures 86.0 x 58.3 cm (approx. 33.8″ by 23″ inches) and is beautifully printed in dark blue ink on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
