Philharmonie, Berlin May 1965 concert poster (Disley)

Original first printing concert poster advertising American jazz pianist and composer Erroll Garner (1921–1977) at the Philharmonie in Berlin [Germany] on Wednesday, 12th May, 1965, presented by Wolfgang Jähnicke. A brilliant virtuoso who sounded unlike anyone else, Erroll Garner was one of the most distinctive of all jazz pianists. He died from lung cancer on 2nd January, 1977. The poster features striking artwork by Anglo-Canadian jazz guitarist and graphic designer Diz Disley. The poster has been authentically signed by Garner in his white bow tie.

The poster measures 83.8 x 59.0 cm (approx. 33″ by 23.2″ inches) and is beautifully printed in red and black inks on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
