c.1976 Japanese RCA Records promotional poster
Original first printing Duke Ellington(1899–1974) promotional poster issued by RCA Records in Japan in the mid-1970s, presumably. The Popular Duke Ellington, originally recorded in May 1966 and released in 1967 by RCA, was reissued in Japan in 1976. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 41.9 x 59.3 cm (approx. 16.5″ by 23.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. In remarkably near excellent unfolded condition.
