Large original first printing concert poster Canadian singer-songwriter and poet Leonard Cohen at the O2 World in Berlin [Germany] on Wednesday, 17th July, 2013, presented by Concertbüro Zahlmann. The concert in Berlin was part of the second European leg of Cohen’s World Tour in support of the Old Ideas album, kicking off at the Palais Omnisports in Paris on 18th June and ending at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 20th September, 2013. Cohen’s touring band included bassist Roscoe Beck, violinist Alexandru Bublitchi, drummer Rafael Bernardo Gayol, jazz keyboardist Neil Larsen, acoustic guitarist and oudist Javier Mas, and guitarist Mitch Watkins, as well as background singers Charley Webb and Hattie Webb. Produced by Ed Sanders and Patrick Leonard, Old Ideas was Cohen’s twelfth studio album, and was released on 31st January, 2012 by Columbia Records. The album received uniformly positive reviews and topped the charts in eleven countries, and was Cohen’s highest ever charting release in the United States, reaching #3 on the Billboard 200. It was listed at #13 on Rolling Stone’s list of the top 50 albums of 2012, saying “Cohen adapts to this uncharted age with a lifetime’s worth of grace and wit.”
