Ginza Yamaha Hall, Tokyo April 1992 concert poster

Original first printing concert poster advertising the Ray Brown Super Trio at the Ginza Yamaha Hall in Tokyo [Japan] on Saturday, 11th April and Sunday, 19th April, 1992. Besides the leader himself, the trio featured pianist Gene Harris and drummer Jeff Hamilton. Special guest on the tour was Australian trumpeter, trombonist and tenor saxophonist James Morrison. In 1995, Brown was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Music from Berklee College of Music, and in 2003, he was inducted into the Down Beat Jazz Hall of Fame. Brown died in his sleep 2nd July, 2002, aged 75.
