Late 1970s Japanese EmArcy Records promotional poster
Original first printing Clifford Brown (1930–1956) promotional poster issued by Bob Shad’s EmArcy Records in Japan in the late 1970s, presumably. During the 1950s and 1960s Max Roach, Clifford Brown, Cannonball Adderley, Dinah Washington, and Sarah Vaughan recorded for EmArcy. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 41.8 x 59.2 cm (approx. 16.5″ by 23.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, dull-coated paper stock. There is a tack hole to each corner, else in remarkably near excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
