Original first printing concert poster advertising American rock band Blue Öyster Cult at the Palais de Beaulieu in Lausanne [Switzerland] on Saturday, 21st January, 1984, with Canadian guitarist Aldo Nova as special guest. The concert in Lausanne was the first stop on the band’s European tour during January and February in support of The Revölution by Night. Produced by Bruce Fairbairn and released in November 1983 on Columbia Records, The Revölution by Night was the band’s ninth studio album and their first album not to feature all of the original members with drummer Albert Bouchard having been fired during the previous tour. Featuring the hits “Shooting Shark” and “Take Me Away”, the album peaked at #93 on the Billboard 200.
The poster measures 30.0 x 69.8 cm (approx. 11.8″ by 27.5″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
