Messehalle, Sindelfingen May 1974 concert poster (Kieser)

Original first printing concert poster advertising Canadian-American jazz-rock group Blood, Sweat and Tears at the Messehalle in Sindelfingen [Germany] on Thursday, 16th May, 1974, presented by Lippmann+Rau in cooperation with Birdladen. The concert in Sindelfingen was part of a nine-date German during May tour in support of the No Sweat album, commencing at the Deutsches Museum in Munich on 13th May and ending at the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt on 24th May. Recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City and Trident Studios in London, and produced by Steve Tyrell, No Sweat was released in August 1973 by Columbia Records. By the time of the tour, guitarist Steve Katz, one of the founding members of BS&T had left the band to work with Lou Reed. The poster measures 59.6 x 83.6 cm (approx. 23.5″ by 32.9″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. Light creasing to the top right corner, else in remarkably near excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
