The 100 Club, London April 1966 gig flyer/pamphlet
Vintage original first printing gig flyer/pamphlet advertising upcoming concerts at the legendary 100 Club on Oxford Street in London during April 1966. The front of the pamphlet has been authentically signed by American jazz trumpeter Bill Coleman (1904—1981), who would appear at the club on Sunday, 24th April, accompanied by Bruce Turner’s Jump Band. Also appearing at the 100 Club during May 1966 were the likes of The Artwoods, Earl Hines, Alex Welsh, Terry Lightfoot, Mr. Acker Bilk, Pretty Things, Monty Sunshine, and others.
34.8 x 19.3 cm, folded twice to 11.7 x 19.6 cm. 6 pp. Beautifully printed in purple and black inks on thin, uncoated paper stock. There is a tack hole to the top left, and what appear to be a coffee stain to the bottom of the back wrapper. Additional photos available on request.
