Original vintage program book for the 1966 Berliner Jazztage which took place at the Philharmonie in Berlin [Germany] from Thursday, 3rd November to Sunday, 6th November, 1966. Presented by Ralf Schulte-Bahrenberg in association with George Wein, the performing artist included Stan Getz, Astrud Gilberto, Max Roach, Sonny Rollins, Dave Brubeck, Illinois Jacquet, Roy Eldridge, Jo Jones, Willie “The Lion” Smith, and many more.
In original pictorial coated wrappers (featuring delicate artwork by Günther Kieser), perfect bound, 23.0 x 22.8 cm, 48 pp. Text in German. Near fine, tightly bound and clean without any markings. Additional photos available on request.
