Ernst Merck Halle, Hamburg November 1968 concert poster (Matthies)
Original first printing vintage concert poster advertising legendary Bee Gees at the Ernst Merck Halle in Hamburg [Germany] on Saturday, 2nd November, 1968, in support of the Idea album, and with Wonderland and The Marbles also on the bill. The poster features striking artwork by the talented Holger Matthies, with the artist’s imprint to the bottom right corner.
The poster measures 59.4 x 83.8 cm (approx. 23.4″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock. There is a faint horizontal fold at the middle and a tiny rip to the left side border, else in remarkably near excellent condition.
