Musikhalle, Hamburg April 1968 concert poster (Kieser)
Original vintage first printing concert poster advertising Count Basie & His Orchestra with British singer Georgie Fame at the Musikhalle in Hamburg [Germany] on Tuesday, 16th April, 1968, presented by Lippmann+Rau in cooperation with Hans-Werner Funke. The poster features striking artwork by noted German graphic artist Günther Kieser with his imprint to the centre of the left side border. The poster has been authentically signed by concert impressario Fritz Rau.
The poster measures 59.8 x 83.8 cm (approx. 23.5″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish uncoated paper stock.
