Original vintage concert program produced for Count Basie’s Fall 1965 European tour, presented by Norman Granz and Horst Lippmann. The orchestra for the tour included Al Barons, George Cohn, Philip Glib, Wallace Davenport (trumpets); Al Grey, William Hughes, Grover Mitchell, Henderson Chambers (trombones); Marshall Royal, Bobby Plater, Eddie Lockjaw Davis, Eric Dixon, Charlie Fowlkes (saxophones); Freddie Green (guitar); Rufus Jones (drums); Norman Keenan (bass). Program artwork and design by Hans Michel and Günther Kieser.
In original b/w typographical matte-coated wrappers, perfect bound, 27.6 x 25.6 cm, 22 pp. Bilingual edition with text in German and English. Near fine, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
