April/June 1984 German concert tour poster
Large original first printing concert poster advertising British progressive rock group Barclay James Harvest’s extensive nationwide tour of Germany during April, May and June 1984 in support of the Victim of Circumstance album. Presented by MAMA Concerts, the 20-date tour commenced at the Carl Diem Halle in Würzburg on 27th April and ended at the Halle Münsterland in Münster on 13th June. Produced by David Katz and originally released on 6th April, 1984 on Polydor Records, Victim of Circumstance was the group’s thirteenth studio album. It peaked at #33 on the UK Album Chart and was certified Gold in both Germany and Switzerland.
