1976 Island Records promotional poster for “Run with the Pack”

Original first printing Bad Company promotional poster issued by Chris Blackwell’s Island Records in 1978 to promote the release of the Run with the Pack album – their third studio album, produced by the band members themselves with engineer Ron Nevison, and originally released on 30th January, 1976 on Island Records in the United Kingdom and Swan Song Records in the United States. Containing the singles “Run with the Pack”, “Young Blood”, and “Honey Child”, the album reached the #5 on the Billboard 200 and stayed on the chart for 27 weeks (6 weeks in the top 10). It was certified Platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) in December 1976 for sales exceeding 1,000,000 copies in the US. In the UK, the album peaked at #4 and stayed on the UK Album Chart for 12 weeks. It was certified Gold by the BPI (British Phonographic Industry) in February 1977 for sales exceeding 100,000 copies in the United Kingdom alone. Robert Christgau (Xgau) gave the album a B– rating. The album was remastered and re-released in 1994. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.

The poster measures 29.8 x 42.0 cm (approx. 11.7″ by 16.5″ inches) and is beautifully printed in silver and black inks on medium-thin, coated paper stock.
