November 1952 French concert tour program
Original vintage concert program for American jazz trumpeter and singer Louis Armstrong’s November 1952 French tour, presented by La Fédération des Hot Clubs Français, and with an ensemble that consisted of Trummy Young (trombone), Marty Napoleon (piano), Cozy Cole (drums), Bob McCracken (clarinet), Arvel Shaw (bass) and Velma Middleton (vocals).
In original red and black pictorial coated wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 27.0 cm, 20 pp. Program notes in French by Frank Tenot. A few blue ink stains on the front wrapper, else just about near fine without further markings. Additional photos available on request.
