November 1952 German concert tour program (1st German Tour)


Original vintage concert program produced for American jazz trumpeter and singer Louis Armstrong’s November 1952 German tour, presented by Welt Ebner, and with an ensemble that consisted of Trummy Young (trombone), Marty Napoleon (piano), Cozy Cole (drums), Bob McCracken (clarinet), Arvel Shaw (bass) and Velma Middleton (vocals). The November 1952 tour was Armstrong’s first visit to Germany.

In original orange and black illustrated uncoated wrappers, staple bound, 14.6 x 20.7 cm, 12 pp. All text in German. In excellent condition, tightly bound and clean.
