Juan-les-Pins, France July 1966 concert flyer


Original first printing double-sided concert flyer advertising the 7th Annual Antibes Jazz Festival held in Juan-les-Pins on the French Riviera from 23rd to 28th July, 1966, headlined by Ella Fitzgerald and Duke Ellington, but also featuring the Guy Lafitte Quartet, the Charles Lloyd Quartet, the Gospelaires of Dayton, Anita O’Day, the Albert Mangelsdorff Quintet, Jean-Luc Ponty, Eddie Louiss, Daniel Humair, and others. Duke Ellington and His Orchestra, sometimes graced with the presence of Ella Fitzgerald, were taped extensively, and part of it was released on the Soul Call album in 1967.
