Original first printing concert poster advertising the American Folk Blues Festival at the Heinz-Hilbert-Theater in Linen [Germany] on Friday, 17th October, 1969, presented by Lippmann+Rau. Performing artists included Juke Boy Bonner, Alex Moore, Clifton Chenier, Cleveland Chenier, Robert St. Julien, Earl Hooker, Mac Thompson, Carey Bell, John Jackson, and Magic Sam. Striking artwork by Günther Kieser with the artist’s imprint to the left side border.
The poster measures 59.8 x 84.0 cm and is beautifully printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. Neatly folded with light wear along the fold lines. Additional photos available on request.
