Town Hall, Birmingham May 1964 concert flyer


Original first printing concert flyer advertising the Julian Cannonball Adderley Sextet’s two performances at the Town Hall in Birmingham [England] on Friday, 15th May, 1964, presented by Vic Lewis and Brian Epstein, and with saxophonist Dick Morrissey, guitarist Ernest Ranglin, and singer Elaine Delmar also on the bill. By this time Adderley’s sextet included Nat Adderley (cornet), Charles Lloyd (tenor/flute), Joe Zawinul (piano), Sam Jones (bass) and Louis Hayes (drums).

The flyer measures 17.6 x 24.1 cm and is beautifully printed in green and black inks on thin, coated paper stock. Complete with the original postal booking form still intact. There is a faint horizontal fold to the middle, else in near excellent condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
