Original vintage concert program for American jazz pianist, composer and bandleader Count Basie’s March/April 1962 nationwide tour of Great Britain, presented by Harold Davison, and with American vocalese trio Lambert, Hendricks & Ross as special guests. The tour kicked off at the Gaumont State in Kilburn on 31st March and ended at the Odeon Theatre in Southend on 17th April. Original ticket stub for the concert at the City (Oval) Hall in Sheffield on Monday, 2nd April, laid in.
In original blue and black pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 26.8 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Benny Green. Near fine, tightly bound and clean without any markings. Additional photos available on request.
