May 1979 Japanese concert tour program 

Large original concert program produced for American new wave rock group Devo’s May 1979 4-date Japanese tour, commencing at the Festival Hall in Osaka on 22nd May and ending at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on 28th May, 1979. Presented by Ongakusha, Devo was touring Japan in support of the Q: Are We Not Men? album – their debut studio album, produced by Brian Eno, and released on 28th August, 1978 on Warner Bros. Records in the USA. Containing the singles “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” and “Jacko Homo”, the album reached #78 on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for sales exceeding 500,000 copies in the US alone.
