April 1956 UK concert tour program
Original vintage concert program for American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger Stan Kenton’s April 1956 nationwide tour of Great Britain, presented by music weekly Melody Maker and promoter Harold Davison. This was Kenton’s first tour of Great Britain and came in between the recording of the albums Contemporary Concepts and Cuban Fire. The program has been authentically signed by Kenton on the back wrapper.
In original orange and black pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 21.0 x 26.8 cm, 20 pp. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
