“Who Put The Boot In” May/June 1976 UK concert tour poster

Original first printing concert poster advertising The Who’s three-date “Who Put the Boot In” UK tour, with shows at the Valley in Charlton, South London (31st May), Celtic Park in Glasgow (5th June) and Vetch Field in Swansea, Wales (12th June). These were one day stadium festivals hosted by the Who and with the Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Little Feat, Outlaws, Streetwalkers and, though not appearing on the poster, Widowmaker also on the bill. The show at the Valley, the last of two epic gigs at Charlton for The Who, still holds the record as the loudest concert in the world.

The poster measures 101.3 x 76.0 cm and is beautifully printed on thin, light coated paper stock (coated on front only). There are a number of faint vertical crease lines, running from top to bottom, else in near excellent unfolded condition. Additional photos available on request.
