1971 Japanese EMI Odeon promo poster for “Electric Warrior”
Original first printing T. Rex promotional poster issued by EMI Odeon in Japan in 1971 to promote the release of the Electric Warrior album – the band’s second studio album (their sixth since their debut as Tyrannosaurus Rex), produced by Tony Visconti, and released on 524th September, 1971. The poster was for promotional purposes only, and was never made commercially available.
The poster measures 51.6 x 73.0 cm (approx. 20.3″ by 28.7″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. Unfolded, but with a tack hole to each corner and a fair amount of surface handling wear. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item.
