Circus Krone, Munich April 1977 concert poster

Original first printing concert poster advertising British rock group Rough Diamond at the Circus Krone in Munich [Germany] on Monday, 25th April, 1977, presented by Lippmann+Rau in cooperation with Stimmen der Welt. Formed by singer David Byron, after leaving Uriah Heep, along with former Colosseum and Humble Pie guitarist Clem Clempson and ex-Wings drummer Geoff Britton, Rough Diamond recorded one self-titled album for Island Records, released in March 1977. Peaking at a modest #103 on the Billboard 200, the album sold poorly and Byron left to pursue a solo career. He was replaced by Gary Bell, changing their name to Champion, and recording an album for Epic Records the following year before disbanding.

The poster measures 59.9 x 83.7 cm (approx. 23.6″ by 33″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, coated paper stock. Very light creasing to the bottom left side of the poster, else in near excellent unfolded condition. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have concerning this item. Additional images of the poster available on request.
