Lavishly produced original vintage concert program for American jazz combo the Modern Jazz Quartet’s 1962 German tour, performing The Comedy by John Lewis with dancers Louis Johnson, Lelia Golden, Cristyne Lawson, and Kevin Carlisle. Striking graphic artwork throughout the program courtesy of Hans Michel and Günther Kieser. Very uncommon.
In original green and black pictorial coated wrappers, perfect bound, 27.5 x 25.5 cm, 30 pp. Trilingual edition with text in German, English and French. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
