Musikhalle, Hamburg April 1960 concert poster (Michel+Kieser)
Original first printing concert poster advertising American jazz combo the Modern Jazz Quartet at the Musikhalle in Hamburg [Germany] on Monday, 18th April, 1960, presented by Norman Granz in association with Kurt Collien. This was the second German tour within less than six months, having toured extensively during November and December 1959. The poster features the same artwork by Hans Michel and Günther Kieser that was used for the 1959 tour.
The poster measures 59.3 x 83.8 cm and is beautifully printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. Surface tears to the corners as well as light overall handling wear. Additional photos available on request.
