Auitorium Maximum, Hamburg April 1971 concert poster (Klaus Hoppe)

Original first printing concert poster advertising British jazz trumpeter Humphrey Lyttelton at the Auitorium Maximum in Hamburg [Germany] on Thursday, 29th April, 1971, presented by Karsten Jahnke. Perhaps best-remembered for the hit single “Bad Penny Blues”, Lyttelton also played the clarinet and was a well-known broadcaster. The poster features striking artwork by Klaus Hoppe, with the artist’s imprint to the lower right corner.

The poster measures 83.9 x 59.2 cm (approx. 33″ by 23.3″ inches) and is beautifully printed on thin, smooth-finish paper stock. In excellent unfolded and unmarked condition.
