Original first printing concert poster advertising German band The Jay Five’s performance of The Who’s rock opera “Tommy” at the Deutsches Museum in Munich [Germany] on 30th August, 1971. The Jay Five was a local band from Würzburg in Germany and consisted of Dieter Blahak, Tom Wohlert, Elmar Kast, Joe Voggenthaler, and Eric Thöner. Between 1971 and 1972 they performed “Tommy” about 180 times in Germany, Holland, Belgium, and Scandinavia. The Jay Five disbanded in 1972.

The poster measures 60.0 x 85.0 cm and is beautifully printed on thin, uncoated paper stock. There is a small piece missing to the top left corner, else in near excellent unfolded condition. Additional photos available on request.
