January 1963 UK concert tour program 

Original vintage program book produced for Duke Ellington’s January 1963 nationwide tour of Great Britain, presented by Harold Davison in association with Norman Granz. The orchestra for the tour included Cat Anderson, Roy Burrowes, Ray Nance, Cootie Williams (trumpets); Lawrence Brown, Buster Cooper, Chuck Connors (trombones); Johnny Hodges, Paul Gonsalves, Jimmy Hamilton, Russell Procope, Harry Carney (saxophones); Sam Woodyard (drums), Ernie Shephard (bass), and Milt Grayson (vocals).

In original coated pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 27.8 x 24.5 cm, 28 pp. Program notes by Benny Green. Light wear to spine and extremities, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
