Hokkaido Welfare Pension Hall, Sapporo June 1973 concert flyer

Original double-sided concert flyer advertising American jazz musician, trumpeter, bandleader, and composer Miles Davis (1926–1991) at the Hokkaido Welfare Pension Hall in Sapporo [Japan] on Saturday, 16th June, 1973. The concert in Sapporo was part of Miles’ June/July 1973 Japanese tour, in support of On the Corner — a studio album, produced by Teo Macero and released on 11th October, 1972 by Columbia Records. The band for the tour featured Dave Liebman (ss, ts, fl); Pete Cosey (g, perc); Reggie Lucas (g); Michael Henderson (el-b); Al Foster (d); and James Mtume Forman (cga, perc).

The flyer measures 18.2 x 25.8 cm (approx. 7.2″ by 10.2″ inches) and is beautifully printed in black and blue inks on thin, coated paper stock.
