March 1968 UK concert tour program + ticket
Original vintage concert program produced for Tony Bennett and Buddy Rich’s joint March 1968 nationwide tour of the United Kingdom, presented by Harold Davison. Buddy’s orchestra for the tour featured Ernie Watts, Charles Owens, Don Menza, Pat LaBarbera, and Frank Capi (saxophones); John LaBarbera, Russ Iverson, and Al Patacca (trumpets); James Trimble, Bill Stover, and Paul Keen (trombones); Russ Turner (piano); Jimmy Gannon (bass); and Walter Namath III (guitar). When appearing with Tony Bennett John Bunch replaced Russ Turner on piano. Original ticket for the concert at the New Victoria Theatre in London on Monday, 11th March, laid in.
In original orange and black uncoated pictorial wrappers, staple bound, 20.9 x 25.6 cm, 20 pp. Program notes by Benny Green. In excellent condition, tightly bound and clean. Additional photos available on request.
