Samson, Antwerp January 1972 concert flyer

Original double-sided first printing concert flyer advertising American jazz tenor saxophonist Illinois Jacquet (1922—2004) at the Samson in Antwerp [Belgium] on Tuesday, 4th January, 1972, accompanied by pianist and organist Milt Buckner (1915—1977) and drummer Jo Jones (1911—1985). And presumably French bassist Roland Lobligeois.

The flyer measures 11.5 x 20.0 cm and is beautifully printed in blue ink on medium-thin, coated paper stock. These unique Belgium flyers were mailed to members of the Antwerp Jazz-Club as well as used as window cards in nearby theaters, shops and businesses as a promotional tool with the primary purpose of selling tickets. In excellent unfolded condition.
