For the second part he was accompanied by bassist Ahmed Abdul-Malik (1927—1993) and drummer Oliver Jackson (1933—1994), while he was accompanied by guitarist Calvin Newborn (1933—2018), bassist Carl Pruitt (1918—1977) and drummer Bill English (1925) for the third and final part. Must have been an interesting night out in Barcelona!
